The world continues to evolve day by day; as well as technology. We seek to figure out new ways of accomplishing hard tasks to make our lives more simple. For example, no more vacuuming when you can buy a robot that can do it all for you. Technology saves us time, and can actually be more precise than an actual human. For example, doctors are now using robots to do surgery on patients, they command the robot and work it from the control room, and the robot does the more precise work. There are many ways technology can continue to benefit us and within the next 20 years, who knows what kind of technology will be knocking at our door begging us to use it.
Travel Changes Everyday Lives
From drones to hyperloop trains, driverless cars to interplanetary travel, the near future of travel looks set for revolution. Driverless cars are going to go from legal to compulsory very quickly, as we realize their potential to dramatically increase road safety and efficiency of driving itself. Picture every car being able to speak to every other car. Also, Uber, for example, doesn’t just want to take over the taxi industry, they’re actually aiming to take over all cars everywhere. If your car is self-driving and can earn money while you’re not using it, then it makes sense to put it into Uber’s system. Furthermore, when you do that, you’ll quickly realize that you don’t actually need to own a car; you can just use the closest Uber vehicle, which blows my mind. We’ll also need less parking spaces, which you can turn your home garage into an extra room, and your workplace and the local mall can convert parkades into a usable office and retail space. Changing how we travel is going to be one of the biggest game changers in the world in the next decade or so. These were just some ideas, but they aren’t actually factual, yet.
Dating People Using Technology
Looking for a date? There are multiple apps for you to choose from, Tinder, bumble, and more. Wondering where to take your date? There are an endless array of how-to guides online and corresponding reviews of restaurants and experiences you can try. The world is an easier and better place to live in because of information technology.
It amazes me that we have all these things available to us now and it makes me wonder what we will have in the future. Have you ever thought about what it would look like another 20 years from now? Would we still have mobile phones? What would e-commence be like? Would IT jobs still be the same? I have so many questions, and theories, but they won’t be answered until the next coming years happen.
Under The Eyes Of Surveillance 24/7
As much as people hate to admit it, the world is becoming easier to monitor. Give it two more decades and it will become inevitable. With the combination of cameras, sensors, wireless communication satellites, and GPS, there will be no untraceable location, person or event. Eventually, tracking will be everywhere, from pets to people, places, maybe even police officers too.
Farmers Become Robots
In the future, I can definitely visualize robots being able to help farmers or even being able to take their place. They can utilize things such as water, and make sure that it isn’t as wasted as it is right now. With robots, they don’t really have to take breaks like a human, so more work gets done in a shorter amount of time. They would just have to be monitored frequently to make sure that they are doing their job correctly, and so that they don’t overheat in the hot sun, etc. As well as, robots are able to plant trees or plants for us too if we program them that way.
So, what are your thoughts on the future? What did you think of the couple of things I noted? Things like these may seem far away from your reality, but the truth is, that it is right around the corner. We may or may not be prepared for it all, but we will learn quickly as time progresses. The future is exciting, and the new things that will be developed will be insane, to the point where we won’t believe our own eyes.
